Amity Institute of Applied Sciences and Amity School of Engineering & Technology organised Three days National Conference on Recent Trends in Material & Devices from May 20 - 22, 2010.
National Conference was inaugurated on May 20, 2010 by Prof. D.T. Khathing, Prof. S.N. Upadyaya, Maj. Gen K.Jai Singh, Vice Chancellor, AUUP, Dr. (Mrs.) Balwinder Shukla, Pro VC, AUUP. National Conference was divided into different Plenary and Technical Sessions.
During the first Plenary Session Prof. R.K. Khandal, Director, Shriram Institute of Industrial Research discussed on Novel concepts for designing of materials: Trends and need. Dr. Anil Kumar Maini, Director, LASTEC, DRDO discussed on Optronic Sensors, Prof. B.L. Deopura, Prof. of Physics, IIT Delhi discussed on Nano Structured Polymeric Materials.
