AMITY INSTITUTE OF REHABILITATION SCIENCES, AUUP In Collaboration with SAKSHAM TUST Noida organized ‘VISUAL MADE VERBAL’ at University Campus, Sector 125 Noida
Prof.(Dr.) Jayanti Pujari, Director, Dean Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences & Director Amity Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (AIRS), Amity University Uttar Pradesh,Noida welcoming the esteemed guests Mr. Dipendra Manocha,President, Daisy Forum of India & Founder Member, Saksham, Delhi , gave an extensive over view on Amity Education Group and how Amity is transforming the landscape of education scenario. Dr. Pujari also emphasized on the inception of Amity Foundation of Developmental Disabilities which is the brain child of Hon’ble Founder President, Dr.Ashok Chauhan. She focused how Amity Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences is striving towards exceptionally and holistically preparing competent Special Educators and Rehabilitation Professionals in tune with the latest trends in the field of Special Education.
Hon'ble Prof.(Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, AUUP highlighted that this workshop would be very beneficial as it will help to create awareness about the importance of entertainment for persons with blindness and deaf and how we all can come together and make it an inclusive world by adding audio description to all the movies released. Dr. Shukla given her blessings for the success of the workshop and also congratulate initiative taken by Amity Institute of Rehabilitation time to time for creating awareness in Amity University.
Mr. Dipendra Manocha, President, Daisy Forum of India & Founder Member, Saksham, Delhi, introduced audio description of movies in unique way ,importance of script writing for the benefit of persons with disability. Mr.Manocha and his team Mrs. Rummi, Mr. from Saksham Noida demonstrated choosing of voice over artist by showing the Bollywood movie PK.
Simultaneously participants divided into 10 groups, and they were also be a part of script writing during the workshop. All the groups presented their script during the workshop.
