Amity School of Engineering and Technology organises Amity IET Knowledge Sharing Series on topic “Research in Medical Image Processing"
Amity School of Engineering and Technology & Amity IET Student Chapter has organised Amity IET Knowledge Sharing Series No. 2 on topic “Research in Medical Image Processing” on September 27, 2012 at Amity University Sec 125, Noida.
The lecture aimed at automated analysis of oral sub mucous fibrosis from oral histopathological images. The lecture explained about how computers can be used for the cancer detection and the research being done regarding this across the world. The eminent speaker of the day was Prof. (Dr.) Ajoy Kumar Ray, Vice Chancellor, Bengal Engineering & Science University.
The lecture was attended by Mr. Tushar Chaudhary (Manager, IET), Prof. (Dr.) K.M. Soni, Dy. Director, ASET), Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal (HOD (CSE), ASET), Ms. Nitasha Hasteer (Acting HOD (IT), ASET) and faculty members and students from ASET.
