Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson - Amity International Schools felicitated for her outstanding contribution in the field of Education by Respect Age International

Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan - Philanthropist, Educationist and Chairperson of Amity International Schools was felicitated with the Young Entrepreneur Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Nation in the field of Education by Respect Age International at India International Centre, New Delhi. The award ceremony was organized on the eve of International Day for Older Persons to honour and award outstanding persons from two generations for their unparallel contribution in the nation building.

The award ceremony was graced by H.H. Maha Mandleshwar Guru Sharnanand Ji Maharaj, Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan, President – Indira Gandhi Centre of Arts, Mr. Udai Pratap Singh- Former Member of Parliament, Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder & Chairman – Sulabh International.

While accepting the award of Young Entrepreneur for Outstanding Contribution to the Nation in the field of Education, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan - Philanthropist, Educationist and Chairperson of Amity International Schools said that education develops family, society and whole country. An educated woman can educate the whole society. India was leader in the field of educations for centuries. University like Nalanda was famous all over the world. Today also India is ahead in education and information technology.

Maha Mandleshwar Guru Sharnanand Ji Maharaj in his spiritual address said that human in his life performs many duties but main duty is to follow the path of a Guru and be committed to serve for the humanity. Guruji said that those human who did not help the elderly people, even God will not help them. While narrating the law of motion that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, Guru ji said that whatever action human does in his life will receive equal result.

Paramhans Yogacharya Swami Anant Bharti presented talk on How to remain young in old age through spirituality, yoga, positive thinking and proper vegetarian diet. The session was followed by Yoga Demonstration by Ms. Irina Emelyanova from Russia.

Respect Age International felicitated Grand old citizens above 80 years for their outstanding contribution to the society. In this category Mrs. Padma Ranganathan, Mr. Uday Pratap Singh, Former Member of Parliament, Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan, President – Indira Gandhi Centre of Arts, Paramhans Yogacharya Swami Anant Bharti were felicitated.

In the Young Entreprenuer category, Respect Age International also felicitated Padamshree Ms. Santosh Yadav – Twice Mt. Everest winner, Mr. P.K. Gupta, Chancellor – SGI, Er Naresh Agarwal, Founder & CEO – Applied Elctro Magnatices Pvt. Ltd. during the occasion.
