Dr. Sead Avdic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina visits Amity University

Dr. Sead Avdic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina along with Mr. Momcilo Vukovic Counselor of the Embassy visited Amity University Campus, Sector-125, Noida. The objective of the visit is to foster stronger collaborative ties between Bosnia & Herzegovina and Amity University Uttar Pradesh.

Lauding the infrastructure and culture of Amity Dr. Sead expressed his desire to collaborate between American University of Bosnia & Herzegovina by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). He also applauded the website of Amity University and said “it was a great pleasure to be appraised with the work culture of Amity and would welcome the collaboration Joint research, student exchange, faculty exchange between both Universities.

Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice Chancellor, Amity University briefed the delegation about Amity and its various institutes. While discussing about various collaborations between both the Universities, she pointed out major areas of collaboration with American University of Bosnia & Herzegovina such as Joint research projects in the field of Nanotechnology, Biotechnology along with dissemination of information by way of journals.

The interaction dwelled upon the opportunity for better understanding of both the cultures and establishing education patterns of Amity and American University of Bosnia & Herzegovina. Dr Sunil Saran, Sr. Vice Chairman-ASTIF, Prof.(Dr.) Ajit Varma, Pro VC-Science & Technology, Director General-AIMT, Prof. V.P.S Arora- Dean Academics, Dr. M. S. Raste, Prof. & Dean of Faculty of Law, Prof. B B Dhar, Director-Research & Innovation Coordination, Maj. Gen. R K Dhawan, Director- International Affairs Development, Mr. Manoj Sharma, Director-AUO, Wg. Cdr. S K Goel, Deputy Director, IAD, Mr. Ojasvi Babbar, DGM-AII were also present amongst several other dignitaries.
