Amity International School, Saket celebrates Annual Day

Hundreds of students and parents participated in the annual day function of AIS, Saket which was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Mr. Marten N Kapewasha, High Commissioner, Republic of Namibia, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, Dr.(Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity International Schools inaugurate the Annual Day by lighting the lamp.

Mr. Marten N Kapewasha, High Commissioner, Republic of Namibia, Chief Guest of the occasion while attending the annual function of AIS, Saket remarked that education is the key to success and looking at the brilliant performances of the students in various fields apart from the academics, one can undoubtedly say that the future of the Nation would be safe and secure in the hands of these young children. He proposed for more student exchange program for betterment of both the nations especially in the political and cultural aspects. He further added that achievement lead to peace followed by prosperity which would make the world a better place to live.

Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group said,” the students stand in distinguished platform due to their achievements which are guided by the parents at every step. The dedication, love and affection of the teachers also help students to get such good results at the end of the year. The teachers help the students in their personality development which makes them a better person and thus play a vital role in a student’s life.

Ms. Bharti Sharma, Principal, Amity International School, Saket in her welcome address said that Amity International School, Saket has achieved a coveted name in various fields by its students and briefed the large gathering regarding the achievement of its students. She added that National Educational Research Academy has given due recognition to Amity International School Saket for its academic excellence, sports, quality of education, faculty after its survey and has called AIS, Saket School to be in real terms heading in the academic highway of progress. She said, “We are trying to make men and women with high cultural values. It is not enough to excel in studies alone. One’s education gets complete when the cultural values are also deeply imbibed in them for progress of the society and country at large.”

Hundreds of students participated in the cultural fiesta in their colorful attires and mesmerized the enthusiastic audience with their scintillating performance in the plays named Gladiator, Madam Curie and another play on Mahatma Gandhi’s principles and students made their parents and teachers proud with their astonishing performances. Prizes were awarded to the students who have excelled in the respective fields during the occasion for their brilliant performances.
