Amity School of Hospitality organized a day long National Seminar “INNOVIN- 2013” on the theme “Innovation & Invention in Hospitality Concepts & Practices” at Amity Campus, Sector- 125, Noida

Welcoming the august gathering, Dr. Vaskar Sengupta - Dy Director, Amity School of Hospitality presented an overview of the Seminar and the various sessions organized as part of the Seminar.

Mr. K K Aggarwal- Chancellor, K R Mangalam University; Dr Swapna Chaturvedi, General Secretary, Indian Diet Association, AIIMS, Mr. Nisheeth Srivastava, Director National Council  of Hotel Management and Dr. M Sajnani- Dean, Hospitality & Tourism, Amity University inaugurated the Seminar

Addressing the gathering, Mr. K K Aggarwal- Chancellor, K R Mangalam University said that today innovations are called for in every sector to make sure that latest technologies and know how is implemented well on time. He stressed that over 30 years ago, Service Industry had very few opportunities and people refrained from investing in the sector but now, in Service industry and specially, in Hospitality Sector, small investments are reaping big returns. He remarked that Hospitality and Tourism sector has lot of scope as far as job opportunities are concerned. He called upon the students to nurture positive outlook towards life and give their best while dealing with the foreign nationals who form their first impression of the country by interacting with tourist guides and hotel staff.

During the day, two technical sessions unfolded wherein industry captains such as Mr. Avjit Arya, Founder & CEO, Internet Moguls, Mr. Jagdeep Chauhan,Director-HR, Marriott Group of Hotels, Mr. Vikas Gupta, Radisson Blu, Greater Noida presented their views.
