Amity School of Engineering & Technology organises Guest Lecture by Mr. S. P. Sharma, Managing Director, Creative Infocom Pvt. Ltd

Mr. S. P. Sharma, Managing Director, Creative Infocom Pvt. Ltd. delivered a lecture in Amity School of Engineering & Technology on 04^th October, 2013 ont the topic “Advances in Reverse Engineering – Tools & Techniques”. The lecture was organized by Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department.

Prof. Vivek Kumar, HOD MAE welcomed the speaker.  He emphasized the need for keeping in touch with the latest developments in the industry.

Mr S. P Sharma kept the audience, including students and faculty, interactively engaged, enthused, and excited.  He introduced the audience to the recent advances in the field of reverse engineering, RP Inspection including Body in White, Scanning, Class “A” Surfacing, Styling, Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Tooling, 3D Modeling, Product Design, Detailing, Inspection Analysis, CNC Machining etc. Several live demonstrations of these techniques were also held. This latest technology has a wide scope in surfacing, styling, rapid prototyping, automated inspection etc. The new technology can cut down product development time from months to weeks.
