Meritorious students, who have scored excellent results in Engineering, Medical and Management Entrance Examinations, felicitated by Amity Institute for Competitive Examinations
Amity Institute for Competitive Examinations (AICE) organized a“Felicitation Ceremony” at Amity Campus, Sector- 125, Noida to award the students who have scored excellent results in Engineering, Medical and Management entrance examinations for the session 2013.
During the Ceremony, 49 students were felicitated, out of which 33 were from Engineering and 16 students were from Medical stream. The students were awarded Cash Prizes varying from Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 2,000/-.
85 students of AICE have been selected in JEE (Joint Engineering Entrance) and other Engineering Entrance Examinations, 78 in NEET and other medical entrance examinations out of which 4 selections are in AIIMS – Delhi, Raipur and Patna.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Meenakshi Rawal- Director, Amity Institute for Competitive Examinations outlined the distinct preparatory courses offered by AICE for the students from Class VI to UG level, Regular Courses for IIT–JEE, Medical and Management Entrance Exams (CAT/ MAT/ XAT etc.). She shared the glorious achievements of the Institute and introduced the students who have done exceptionally well in various competitive examinations such as AIIMS and AIEEE.
Sharing his views, Prof. Krishan Lal, President, Indian National Science Academy acknowledged the sincere efforts extended by Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan- Chairperson, Amity International Schools in bringing an education revolution in the country. He stressed that all those students who are groomed by AICE are very fortunate since, they are entrusted in the best hands. He opined that scientific education and temper has to reach the remotest part of the country to ensure the growth and development of the country in real sense and Amity International Schools are contributing a major role in this area.
Blessing the talented youngsters to take quantum leaps in their lives ahead, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan- Chairperson, Amity International Schools said that the Felicitation ceremony has been organized to acknowledge the remarkable achievements of the students and to motivate them to excel in all the forthcoming challenges of their academic and professional careers. She advised students to become good human beings and respect others to climb the ladder of success and bring laurels to their family and school. She stressed that teachers and parents cannot be with them every time and everywhere; it is their virtues and education which would stand them in good stead everywhere.
Commending the phenomenal growth that Amity Institute for Competitive Examinations (AICE) has witnessed since its inception,Dr S.V Eswaran -Former Head, Chemistry Department ,St. Stephen's College stressed that it is very important to kindle scientific temper amongst the students of the country, since, the future Nobel laureates would be from India. He called upon the young students to be honest and sincere in their conduct.
The father of a student achiever, Nikita Aggrawal commended the supportive faculty members, logistics and productive environment provided by AICE which is engaging for students. He thanked Chairperson Madam and thestaff of AICE in grooming his daughter who has successfully made it to several engineering colleges of the city and has finally opted for Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
Also present during the occasion were Ms. Jayshree Chauhan, Dr. B Atayaman- Director, NCRWF and Principals of Amity International Schools located in Noida, Vasundhara, Gurgaon, Saket and Pushp Vihar.
