Amity Institute of Training and Development organises a debate on “The contribution of Hindi in maintaining unity and solidarity in the country” for the probationary officers of Allahabad Bank

Participating in the ongoing nationwide commemoration of “Rajbhasha Pakhwara” and to generate interest inthe art of Public Speaking, Amity Institute of Training and Development (AITD)organized a debate on “The contribution of National Language Hindi in maintaining unity and solidarity in the country”  for the probationary officers of Allahabad Bank at Amity Campus, Sector-44, Noida.

Amity Institute of Training and Development, as part of the MoU signed between AITD and Allahabad Bank, has been imparting 3 months “Training” to 500 Probationary Officers (POs) of Allahabad Bank which includes a mix of soft skills and technical skills.

Ms. Savita Mehta- Vice President,Media, Amity Group, Mr. R K Dwivedi- Senior Manager, Allahabad Bank and Mr. Deepak Gupta-Hindi Poet judged the debate and awarded the winners.

Expressing her views during the occasion, Ms. Savita Mehta said that Hindi language will gain precedence in India when each and every citizen of the country would speak Hindi. Today,the States are getting divided on the basis of language which is robbing our national language of its age old glory. She called upon the gathering to work towards the promotion and dissemination of our national language.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Deepak Gupta said that the Hindi language that we use in common parlance is frequently mixed with English and Urdu words. People have forgotten the pure language. He motivated the gathering to take the best of West and not the waste of West.

Maj. Vinod Krishna- Director, Amity Institute of Training and Development expressed that it is very important for the probationary officers to realize the importance of National language Hindi to strengthen the customer.

8 Probationary Officers participated in the Debate- Mr. Mukesh Jamgir, Ms. Deepti Yadav, Ms. Preeti Mudgal, Mr. Anup Kumar Gupta, Ms. Vimlesh Kumari, Mr. Deepak Kumar Jha, Mohammad Faizan and Ms. Saloni Singh.

Speaking in favor of the topic, Ms. Preeti Mudgal was given the First Prize and Ms. Deepti Yadav bagged the Second Prize.

Speaking against the topic, Mr. Deepak Kumar Jha and Ms. Saloni Singh bagged the First and Second Prize.

Ms. Vimlesh Kumari received the Consolation Award.
