Two Week India Program for students of International School of Management, Paris begins at Amity University
Amity University and International School of Management (ISM), Paris established a partnership alliance in year 2012 to offer academic cooperation, joint seminars and student-faculty exchange program. Continuing with this endeavor two week India Program is being organized by Amity Business School with 28 participants from ISM, Paris from April 1 – 12, 2013.
Mr. Matthew Andrews, Academic Director– International School of Management Paris; Dr. (Prof.) Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice Chancellor – Amity University; Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Dean – Faculty of Management Studies, Amity University; Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Director – Amity Business School were present during the inaugural ceremony.
While briefing about International School of Management (ISM), Mr. Matthew Andrews said that ISM is an innovative business school with its programs based on American-style curriculum and designed for business practitioners and educators who would like to further develop their expertise, contribute to the knowledge and prepare for the complex analyses and decision-making required of business professionals and academics. ISM's programs are highly interactive and offer an unparalleled opportunity to network with executives from around the world while learning from faculty members who are experts in their fields. Mr. Andrews said that alliance with Amity University will offer ISM students a unique experience, to study in one of the world’s fastest growing economy and culturally rich country.
Dr. (Prof.) Balvinder Shukla said that signing of academic coordination between Amity University and ISM will give opportunities to students of both Universities to interact and benefit from each others management programs. Dr. Shukla added that India Program 2013 is the uniting joint efforts between Amity and ISM. We look forward for same joint endeavor in future also.
Dr. Sanjay Srivastava said that two week India Program will comprise of lectures, case study presentation by Amity faculty, seminars on wide range of topics including Doing Business in India, the Indian Economy, Indian Consumer Markets Indian Financial Markets etc. The program will help the participants in gaining insight into Indian business practices and markets.
One of the participants of India Program, Mr. Marc Berry said that China is very dominant market in the world and India is closely following it. We want to learn about markets in India.
Another participant Ms. Barabara said that it is her second trip to India and this is a unique opportunity to be part of the specialized crafted course based on Indian Marketing scenario.
