Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan – world renowned educationist, philosopher, philanthropists and Chairperson of Amity International Schools was felicitated with an Award of Shodan (Black Belt) for her Outstanding Contribution to the Nation in encouraging and promoting Karate in Amity International Schools by World Japan Seigo-Kai-Karate-do-Japan at a special awards function held at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi
World Karate Chief, Soshi Isamu Kamagata conferred the Award of Shodan (Black Belt) on Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan in the presence of Sensei R.R. Raha, President of Seigo-Kai-Karate-do Association of India, Ms. AI Wada and Ms. Chizuku Yoshida from Japan.
Adorning the sparkling white karate robe and the black belt, as a mark of her newly acquired milestone, Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan shared, “I feel the happiness a mother feels when her child’s achievements are recognized and rewarded. I can proudly say that my children deserve the laurels they are bringing back from karate championships, they truly deserve it.”
