Eight day Arya Yuvak Personality Development Camp concludes at Amity University
Kendriya Aarya Yuvak Parishad in association with Amity has been organizing “Personality Development Camp” for young boys for many years. This year, Arya Yuvak Personality Development Camp was organized from June 09 to June 16, 2013 at Amity University Campus Sector-125 Noida. Around 270 boys participated in the Camp.
Shri Tarun Vijay – Member of Parliament; Dr. Mahesh Sharma – MLA; Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity University; Mr. Anand Chauhan, Trustee – Ritnand Balved Education Foundation; Mr. Anil Arya, National President – Kendriya Arya Yuvak Parishad graced the valediction of the Camp on June 16 at Amity University Campus, Sector-125, Noida.
While hoisting the flag Shri Tarun Vijay – Member of Parliament remarked that Arya culture is the oldest which is still in practice. The teachings of Swami Dayanand Saraswati are still relevant in today’s time; what he advocated and stood for – girl child education and evil practices like dowry are the vices which are still affecting our society. Shri Vijay said that the teachings of Swami Dayanand have to be adopted and practiced. Swami Dayanand had unfurled the flag known as Pakhand Khandini Pataka at the bank of Ganga River to enlighten the common man against the superstitions and other bad rituals that were prevailing at that time.
Dr. Mahesh Sharma – MLA said that it is a great feeling to see that hundreds of young boys have participated in the camp which may change their life for ever. Training and skills which the participants have gained would benefit them for their entire life, help them gain confidence and face the hardships diligently.
While lauding the participation of boys and their parents in this unique camp, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group said that everyone should be familiarized with the teachings of Vedas. It not only gives a new way of living life but also a source to link with the Ultimate Power of Universe – GOD. He stressed, at Amity students are taught the essence of Vedas. Each Amity student receives World Class education with best faculty and state of the art infrastructure and is firmly placed in his cultural roots. Dr. Chauhan said that the participants of the camp have enriched themselves with the techniques of Self defence and personality development and is sure that these participants will never seek support from others in tough times.
