Ms. Balatseng D, Minister Plenipotentiary, High Commission- South Africa visited Amity University , Noida campus on April 11, 2012 to discuss the various possibilities of Cooperation between Amity University and Universities of South Africa.
Ms. Balatseng D was accompanied by Ms. Lorna Daniels from High Commission of South Africa. Delegation was welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Maj. Gen. K.J. Singh and several HOI’s. Delegation was introduced to various areas of academics where Amity and South African Institutes of Higher Education can join hands and form collaborations. Emphasis had been given on Management, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Engineering, Microbial Technology, Mass Communications, Student/Faculty exchange programs, and training programs.
Maj. Gen. K. Jai Singh, Vice Chancellor, Amity University during his interaction with the delegates laid emphasis on the various technical courses that Amity University offers to its students and how students from other universities would benefit through student exchange programs.

Dargan, Director - Amity School of Communication, Dr. A.K. Srivastava, DG, Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Dr. Ajit Verma, DG- Amity Institute of Microbial Technology were present during the occasion.
