Amity University gives Scholarships worth crores to its meritorious students
To recognize the hard work and excellence achieved by meritorious students in their academic endeavors, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh organized two day" Scholarship Award Function" for students of different institutions at Amity University, Noida campus.
The scholarships were awarded by Mr. Aseem Chauhan- Chancellor, Amity University, Rajasthan, Mr. Anand Chauhan- Trustee, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, Maj. Gen K. Jai Singh, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh and Dr. Balvinder Shukla-Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh.
Mr. Aseem Chauhan- Chancellor, Amity University, Rajasthan while congratulating the awardees said that Scholarship function is a special and wonderful moment for all the scholarship holders. “The happiness associated with the grand occasion is well reflected on the faces of the parents and faculty members. Scholarship is a mark of great achievement and success but at the same time, it should motivate the students to continue working hard and scale greater heights”, remarked Mr. Chauhan.
Over 542 students from Amity Business School, Amity International Business School, Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity Institute of Telecom Technology and Management, Amity Law School and other institutes were awarded Scholarships. Over 184 students were benefited by on Admission Merit Scholarships, 138 by Merit Scholarships, 190 by Continuation of on Admission Merit Scholarship, 28 by Merit-cum-Means Scholarships and 2 students received Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan Scholarships.
Thanking the University for Awarding on Admission Merit Scholarship, one of the Scholarship holders, Abhilasha Verman pursuing M. Tech- Biotechnology from Amity Institute of Biotechnology said that it’s a very joyful occasion and attributed her achievement to parents and faculty members who taught her to believe in herself and put in extra effort to stand out in the crowd.
The proud father of Riteek Arora- a Scholarship holder pursuing MCA from Amity Institute of Information Technology remarked that it is wonderful to see how the achievements of students are well recognized by the university and how Amity University is promoting talent in all the areas.
