King of Punjabi Music Singer Daler Mehndi swayed the crowdwith his lively punjabi musical tracks during the culmination twilight of AmityYouth Fest 2018 at University Campus, Sector 125 Noida.
Thousands ofstudents grooved to his beats as he sang his popular songs including “Ho GayiTeri Balle Balle , “Tunak Tunak Tun”, “Na Na Na Nare Nare”, “Laila o Laila”,“Dil Deewana Bole Ole Ole Ole”, Bachna Ae Haseeno”, “Dil Chori Sadda Ho Gaya”,“Gulaboo” “ Naagin Dance Nachna” and many more.
During the fest, Actor Arjun Rampal visited the campus asChief Guest for “Broadsway- Theatrical Competition” wherein 20 Dramaticsteams from various Colleges and Institutions across the Country participatedand showcased their acting abilities.
Bringing panIndian budding professionals to compete in the simulated business games, AmityBusiness School organized “The BestManager” and ‘The Business Quiz” to test the leadership, teamwork, businessacumen and pressure handling skills in simulating real life business scenarios
“The BestManager” Competition saw the participation of 25 students from 13Institutions/Universities across the nation including Punjab TechnicalUniversity, Welingkar Institute of Management Studies, Symbiosis Centre forManagement Studies, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Management DevelopmentInstitute, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth and International Management Institute amongstothers, who faced challenging and exciting rounds from the world of businessand decision making.
Mr. Utkarsh fromWelingkar Institute of Management Studies who posed as Mr. Lalit Modi won theBest Manager competition.
AddingInternational glimmer to the fest, Ms.Tanique Fossa, renowned female Saxophonists from Ukraine along with her Teamfrom Europe presented a musically mesmerizing and soulful performance.
Promotingfitness amongst the students of Amity, Amity University organized “Mr. Amity – Fitness Competition” whichoffered a platform to students who are passionate and immensely dedicatedtowards fitness and bodybuilding. Mr. Shantanu Chauhan bagged the title of Mr.Amity.
As part ofcultural extravaganza, Student teams from 13 colleges across Delhi NCR swayedto the the beats of folk tunes during 'RangRaise- Folk Dance Competition’. The teams showcased different cultures andheritage of various states of India including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab,Assam, Orissa and others.
The three daycultural cum technical extravaganza -Amity Youth Fest, was a concoction of thebest of technologies, innovation, creativity, culture and fun. The mega eventencapsulated and accentuated the spirit of competitiveness through variouscultural and technical events from resonant argumentative debates to melodiousperformances, from hard core rock shows to vigorous drama performances, frommoves of a dancer to buzzer of a quizzer, from innovative quad copters tointelligently planned business strategies, from the photography exhibition tofashion presentation.
