Students of Amity Shooting Club win Gold in All India Inter University Shooting Championship

Six students of Amity Shooting Club participated in All India Inter University Shooting Championship at OASES Shooting Range, Jagatpura Jaipur and four of them won Gold medals in different categories, bringing laurels to their University and parents.
Amrender Pal Singh Chauhan, Akriti Khapra from Amity Law School, Noida; Mandeep Singh from Amity College of Commerce and Finance and Kamal Setia from Amity School of Business won gold medals in in Pistol and Shot Gun events and Chirag Jain from Amity Law School Noida and Viraj Chaudhary from Amity Institute of Social Sciences displayed best of their shooting skills during the Championship.
Over 400 student shooters participated in the Championship from 20 Universities including Delhi University, Gurunanak Dev University, Gujrat University,Patiala University, Punjab University, Rajasthan University, SBP University Pune , BTU Balgaon University, MDU Rohtak University and Ashoka University
At Amity, Sports activities are considered important aspect of a student's development and Amity Shooting Club was established with the vision to help increase the concentration levels of the students and to inculcate a winning spirit, build strong character and well-rounded personalities. The state of the art facilities of Amity Shooting Club including 20 lane Shooting Range has helped in nurturing many National and International level Shooters.
