Inauguration cum Orientation Programme of Amity CIMA Joint Certification courses
Chartered Institute of ManagementAccountants (CIMA) in association with Faculty of Management Studies AmityUniversity Uttar Pradesh started Joint Certification courses for UG & PGStudents for the academic session 2017-18. Today, an orientation progarmme wasorganized that University campus, sector 125 noida.
Addressingthe gathering, Dr. (Prof.) BalvinderShukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University said that The CIMA certificationis one of the most valued certifications as it enhances quality of managementeducation. She mentioned that CIMA help students to unleash their true businesspotential. She averred that during the course, Students will gain anunderstanding of the areas of economic activity relevant to an organization’sdecisions and the numerical techniques to support such decisions. Dr. Shukla apprisedthat with association of CIMA and AMITY, the membership fees have been waivedoff for the students of Amity University who have enrolled themselves in thecertification course. She also informed as part of the collaboration, a Centreof Excellence will be established which will be inaugurated on 9thNovember 2017 in presence of President- CIMA.
Duringthe occasion, Mr. Nufail Naleem - CIMAbriefed the students about CIMA certification course. He stressed that it isnecessary to provide right training to students as they will further nurturethe future generation. He pointed out that the most important factor in businessis time as everyone gets equal opportunities but success of business dependsupon best time management. He called upon the budding professionals to havecommitment towards success which will help them to work more dedicatedly in anyprofession.
Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Director, AmityBusiness School encouraged the students and briefed themabout the significance of CIMA certification.
