A book highlighting the importance and benefits of chanting AUM- “The Divine Powers of Aum” released at Amity
A Book titled “The Divine Powers of Aum”, authored by Dr. Sanjeev Bansal- Dean,Faculty of Management Studies, Amity University and his father- Mr. H K Bansal was released by Dr. Ashok K Chauhan- Founder President, Amity Group at AmityUniversity Campus, Sector-125, Noida.
In the book, the meaning and supreme powers of Mahamantra – OM are mentioned as contained in the Vedas, the Upnishads, the Bhagwad Geeta and other philosophical literature of India. The book highlights the benefits of chanting OM and outlines how its sound vibrations affect mind, body and soul. The Book attempts to show common points between Science and Vedas.
Talking about the book, the author- Dr. Sanjeev Bansal- Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, Amity University stressed that The divine Powers of Aum”is not a religious book but a spiritual one, which people of all the religionscan relate with. AUM, A.L.M, ONKAR, AMEN are sacred and secret words of Almighty with same divine powers and are used in different religions.
Congratulating the author, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan said that the essence of life is OM;it’s chanting gives peace of mind to perturbed soul and unleashes boundless energy and positivity. He stressed that the power of OM is even recognized and acknowledged by Western World which is looking towards India’s rich mythology and literature for attaining ever lasting peace and solace.
