New Session begins at Amity Business School and Amity International Business School
To help fresher students acclimate themselves to Amity University, Amity Business School and Amity International Business School organized the Orientation Program for students of MBA Batch of 2015-17 to officially welcome all freshmen at Amity Campus, Sector 125 Noida.
This year Amity received thousands of applications but after stringent screening through entrance exam and personal interview, around 300 students were selected. These students were enrolled in MBA, MBA-IB and MBA 3 Continent programme.
The programme commenced with Havan, in accordance to the Amity traditions.
During the orientation programme, Dr. (Mrs) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh welcomed the new batch of students and motivated them to study with complete dedication and sincerity. He further added that their respective institutions will provide them best facilities, resources and infrastructure and it depends on them how they make best use of the opportunity given to them.
Welcoming the students, Dr.Sanjeev Bansal, Director, Amity Business School said that the Orientation Ceremony is an important rite of passage for freshmen to be inducted into the University.He added that they are strongly encouraged to attend the ceremony as it provides an excellent opportunity for students to meet your fellow freshmen,seniors and faculty of the University. Dr. Bansal emphasized the importance andgreat value of time they had to cherish and the various resources they couldmake use of during their graduate studies.
Attending the orientation ceremony, Ms. Surbhi Dhawan, a student enrolled for MBA- General said that she is very excited to be apart of Amity University which is known for nurturing talent. She further added that pursuing MBA from Amity Business School will help her in achieving a productive career in corporate sector asAmity not only provides education/degree but also helps in industry related skill development .
During the orientation session, new students were familiarized with the various rules and regulations of the university and introduce them to their faculty and respective mentors.
