Star Studded commencement to Pre Independence Day Celebrations at Amity University
To commemorate celebrations for IndependenceDay, Amity University in association with Zee News organized an IndependenceDay special programme on theme of “Women Safety” at Amity Campus Sector 125.
The programmewitnessed a star studded affair with bandwagon of celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, SidharthaMalhotra and Olympic Boxing Bronze Medallist Vijendra Singh promoting selfdefense techniques amongst students.
During theprogramme, Akshay Kumar demonstrated martial art and self defense skills along witha student of Amity. Vijendra Kumar advised that during an untoward incident thefirst step for self defense is to raise an alarm by shouting for help.
Thousands ofstudents were seen loudly cheering the starcast of upcoming film “Brothers” andalso the Editor of zee News Mr. Sudhir Choudhary.
