The Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi, organizes a Faculty Enrichment Programme on the theme “Evaluation and Feedback Mechanism to Promote Excellence in Teacher Quality”

The Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi organized a Faculty Enrichment Programme on the theme Evaluation and Feed back Mechanism to Promote Excellence in Teacher Quality at Amity Campus, Saket, New Delhi.

Seventy Seven faculty members and Research Scholars from eight Universities and    fourteen Schools participated in the programme including Galgotia University, Uttar PradeshChaudhary Charan Singh University, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka , Delhi University, Maharishi Dayanand University, Manav Rachna University, Indira Gandhi National University, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Suncity School, Gurgaon,  Banyan Tree School, Lodhi Road, New Delhi,Sadhu Vaswani International School, Delhi, Blue Bell International School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi,  The Millennium School, Noida,Shalom Hills International School, New Delhi, Red Roses Public School, Saket, New Delhi, Balwant Rai Mehta School, Masjid Moth, New Delhi,  Presidium School, Dwarka, New Delhi and others.

During the inaugural session, Prof.R. K. Mittal, Director-Development,Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, Coordinator-NAAC and Formerly Vice Chancellor of Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad (U.P.) gave the keynote address wherein he emphasized that it is very important for a teacher to relate the subject content with real life and called for continuous evaluation of a teacher which plays an important role

 

The Faculty Enrichment Programme comprised of two technical sessions- “Quality Assurance and Maintaining Accountability and Standards in Teaching” conducted by Dr. Saroj Sharma,Professor,School of Education, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha  University, New Delhi and “Performance Evaluation-Basic for improving Quality of Teaching” conducted by Dr. A.K. Gaba, Associate Professor, School of Vocational Education Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University(IGNOU).

The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
