‘Homecoming Ceremony’ of Ms. Aditi Arya, Femina Miss India World 2015 at Amity Sector 46 Gurgaon

Adding a glorious chapter to the stupendous achievements ofAmity Schools is Femina Miss India 2015, Ms. Aditi Arya-an alumna of Amity International School, Sector-46, Gurgaon who has won the coveted Title. She passed out from Amity School in 2011 with flying colors in Science stream and etched out her name in the list of all rounders and meritorious students of the School.
To honor her great achievement, AIS, Sector- 46, Gurgaon organized a special “Home Coming Ceremony” for the glorious Diva wherein Dr.(Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Mrs. Divya Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity School of Fashion Technology and Amity School of Fine Arts and Ms. Arti Chopra, Principal Amity International School, Sector 46 Gurgaon felicitated Femina Miss India 2015.
Hundreds of students gathered to get a glimpse of Ms. Arya and greeted her with loud cheers, thunderous applauses and standing ovations. They all seemed awestruck with her impressive persona which is a perfect blend of beauty with brains.
With a packed itinerary, the colors of Homecoming Ceremony unfolded with planting a sapling followed by wide array of cultural programmes by the students of the School. The ceremony commenced with melodious western songs sung by the students followed by a scintillating contemporary dance performance. Students from Junior wing recited a beautiful poem on her success and wished her luck to win the Miss World Title. They even presented her a beautiful handmade Tiara which added to her pristine beauty.
In her appreciation, another student captured her beauty by way of drawing a sketch on the spot, which Aditi Arya autographed as memoir for the School.
Welcoming the proud alumna of the School and emanating unbridledjoy and exhilaration, Dr.(Mrs.) Amita Chauhan congratulated Aditi Arya for bringing laurels to her parents, school and everyone around. She said that it is an honor for Amity fraternity to welcome Aditi who, with her determination, persistence and diligence, has proved that nothing is impossible, provided one puts in sincere efforts. Dr. (Mrs.) Chauhan remarked that Aditi has set an example for her alma mater and has outlined a road map to success for all the girls aspiring to win beauty titles. She praised Aditi for her lofty aspirations and humble approach towards life. She expressed her conviction that just like Aditi, every Amitian, with their holistic grooming,will be a success story in whichever field he/she enters. She wished her luck and success in all endeavors.
Sharing her mantra of success with Amitians, Femina Miss India World 2015 Aditi Arya said that there is an X-factor in every person and it is important to identify and nurture it.Recalling her school memories, Ms. Arya said that earlier she wished to be a Scientist and had her interests inclined towards Science Olympiads but gradually, she realized that the calling of her life is something else and she aligned all her efforts in realizing her dreams. Ms. Arya opined that sometimes, golden opportunities knock the door of a person unexpectedly; hence,one should have strong backbone, work hard and have ethics in place to make the most out of those opportunities. She encouraged the students to look out for opportunities and work on them and stressed that the path to success will be easier with focused attitude. Responding to students’ query on her views on womanhood,she stressed that essence of womanhood is that a woman is everything who dignifies every role with humility which makes her special. Femina Miss India World remarked that she is overwhelmed by the honor and love she has always received from Amity fraternity
Congratulating Ms. Aditi Arya on her success, Mrs. Arti Chopra said that Amity has always believed in providing an education for lifetime through holistic approach and not just imparting the theoretical knowledge.
During the visit, Miss India World Aditi Arya exchanged lighthearted notes with the students and interacted with them jubilantly.
Ms. Arya had her audience captivated with her natural confidence and lovely casual demeanor, which impressed one and all.
