Department of Mechanical & Automation Engineering, Amity School of Engineering & Technology organises Seminar on Energy Efficiency, Conservation and Management
Energy is a precious resource which needs to be conserved and managed efficiently. To make students aware of this fact, Department of Mechanical & Automation Engineering, Amity School of Engineering &Technology organized a Seminar on “Energy Efficiency, Conservation and Management”
Mr.Amitabh Srivastava- Assistant General Manager, Advance Metering Technology Ltd.and Mr. Dalip Singh, President, Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Delhi- NCR Chapter and CEO, India EnMS Consulting Pvt Ltd enlightened the students during the Seminar.
Prof.Vivek Kumar, HOD-MAE welcomed the distinguished guests and introduced them to the gathering.
Prof.Abhay Bansal- Jt. Acting Head, ASET highlighted the need of energy conservation in all the sectors.
Mr.Dalip Singh spoke on the need and importance of the adoption ofISO-50001 Certification and how it is a proven path for Energy Optimization. He briefed students about AEE and how it helps students to create careers in energy sector.
Mr. Amitabh Srivastava, Assistant General Manager, Advance Metering Technology Ltd discussed case studies related to various processing and manufacturing industries highlighting the thrust areas for energy conservation.
Mr. Vinayak Hemadri, MAE Department talked about Waste heat to power technologies. He focused on Kalina and Steam Rankine cycle and ORC for waste heat recovery.
