Amity University conferred AdjunctProfessorship to Dr. Alexandra P Hansen, Director, German Research Foundation& Chairman, Board of the German House for Research and Innovation, NewDelhi at Amity Campus, Sector 125, Noida.
Duringthe ceremony, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group with a letterof appointment for adjunct professor honored Dr. Alexandra P Hansen.
Addressing thegathering, Dr. Ashok K Chauhanwelcomed Dr. Hansen to Amity family, and expressed his hope that thecollaboration will further strengthen the University’s mission. He added that thepotential of Amity in area of Science and Research is unmatched and hence, havelinkages with 21 German Universities and Institutions for providing bettereducation and research opportunities to students. Dr. Chauhan emphasized thatAmity University look forward to Dr. Hansen’s contribution towards educationand research and in fostering more talents for our society.
During hisacceptance speech, Dr. Alexander PHansen expressed his gratitude to Amity University for honor bestowed him.He further added that India is one country where Germany needs to extendresearch collaborations. He encouraged the Research Scholars to pursue theirresearch in joint collaboration with German organizations as there are variousareas of research covered in Germany. He elaborated on research collaborationoptions and funding process etc. Dr. Hansen suggested for an associationbetween Amity University and German House for Research & Innovation. Hefurther expressed his hope on establishing a research centre in AmityUniversity.
