Delegation from Saginaw Valley State University, US visits Amity University

A US delegation from Saginaw Valley State University visited Amity University,Sector 125, Noida to seek potential areas of mutual collaboration in various academic programmes.
The delegation consisted of 22 UG & PG Students from various academic of different academic programs including Accountancy, Economics,Finance, Marketing and Management were welcomed by Dr. W. Selvamurthy,President, Amity Science Technology and Innovation Foundation; Dr. Gurinder Singh, Group Addl. Vice Chancellor – Amity University, Wg Cdr S K Goel, Dy Director, IAD and HOIs of various departments.
During the visit, various collaborative options were mooted including the Joint Students Internship Programs, Developing India Immersion Program for the Students ofSVSU and Research & Consulting opportunities.
Welcoming the guests, Dr. Gurinder Singh highlighted the exemplary achievements of Amity University. He further briefed them about the historical background of the University, its academic programmes, facilities achievements, patents filed by researchers and scientists and accreditation of the University.
To familiarize the students with Indian Business Environment and Indian Economy, a lecture was organized on “Overview of Indian Business Environment & Indian Economy by Prof. Akhil Swami, Professor,ABS.
The delegation a round of the campus and visited the Amity University Online, Amity Innovation Incubator and Central Library.
