Three month long TATA Motors Works Managers Training Program by Amity Business School concludes at Amity University

Three month long TATA Motors Works Managers Training Program by AMITY Business School concluded at Amity University Campus, Sector- 125, Noida.

 

This training was conducted with the support of National Skill Development Corporation under Prime Minister’s ambitious skill development program called ‘UDAAN’.

 

Mr. Atul Bhatnagar, COO of National Skill Development Corporation ;Mr. Sanjeev Garg, Global Head of Consumer Service for TATA Motors; Dr. (Mrs.) Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Prof (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava –Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, Amity University, Prof (Dr.) Sanjeev Bansal, Director of Amity Business School and Prof (Dr.) B.K. Srivastava- Program Director, Amity University were present during the valediction Ceremony.

 

Thirty-one trainees from across the country, who had successfully completed the Management Training under the scheme, received Certificates of Participation during the Ceremony.

 

 Welcoming the dignitaries & participants, Prof (Dr.) Sanjeev Bansal, Director of Amity Business School highlighted the various modules that were covered during the Training program including “Operations and Service Management”, “Finance and Accounting”, “Human Resource Management”, “Marketing and Sales”, “Legal Aspects”, “Communication and Behavioral Skills”. He remarked that the modules were tailored and customized as per the needs of Tata Motors and the globalized market trends by the illustrious faculties of Amity Business School in consultation with the Field Experts from Tata Motors.

 

Addressing the gathering, Mr Atul Bhatnagar - COO of National Skill Development Corporation highlighted the relevance of mutual cooperation and strategic partnership in the area of skill development for field personnel.

 

Mr Sanjeev Garg, Global Head of Consumer Service of Tata Motors underlined the strengths of Tata Motors and its continued support and participation in the development of skilled work-force for the country. He also emphasized the importance of contributions from competent field work-force in growth and development of the country.

 

Dr. (Mrs.) Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Amity University captured the spirit behind this strategic partnership and reminded how the need of the hour for society and community was being served by the mutual cooperation between Amity and TATA Motors with support from National Skill Development Corporation.

 

Prof (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava -Dean FMS, Amity University congratulated the participants for successfully completing the training program and encouraged them to utilize the learnings at Amity to the actual operations in the field.

 

This management training was a part of five years MOU signed between TATA MOTORS and Amity Business School, Amity University. The success of this course has been validated by the earlier groups of managers trained at Amity Business School, who have made an indelible impact in the field services and have made unmatched contributions in the service sector.
