Basic Human Resource Management Training Programme for Bhutan Power Corporation Personnel concludes at Amity Institute of Education
The Valedictory Ceremony for the one week “Basic Human Resource Management Training Programme” organised for the employees of Bhutan Power Corporation limited was conducted on the 10th September, 2013 at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida Campus.
Lt. Gen A.K. Lamba, Strategic Advisor to Founder President Sir, Dr. Ranjana Bhatia, Prof. & Principal,Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi, Dr. Alka Mudgal, Officiating Head of Amity Institute of Education, AUUP and thefaculty members of AIE, New Delhi & AIE, AUUP were present at this occasion.
A total of 12 participants were awarded certificates for the successful completion of this training programme.
Dr. Ranjana Bhatia, presented a brief overview of the training conducted for seven days and thanked the participants for being very interactive and participative in all the teaching sessions and activities.
Lt. Gen. A.K. Lamba awarded the certificates and appreciated the effort of the institute in conducting the training smoothly. He congratulated the participants and graciously invited them for future endeavors as well.
Mr. Devi Charan, Ms. Sonam and Mrs. Yangchen, three of the participants shared their experiences about the training and heartily thanked Amity University and Dr. Ranjana Bhatia for all the love and care shown to them. They expressed their deepest sense of gratitude for Founder President Sir who very generously spared his valuable time in meeting them during the training programme. They also said that after going through the sessions on communication, Team work, stress management, basics of HRM and accounting,setting of goals etc. they are more confident of themselves and would be able to contribute richly to their organisation when they go back home.
They also expressed their desire of coming back to India and especially to Amity. In the end all the participants presented a glimpse of their culture through a dance performance and sang popular bhutanese and hindi songs.
During the training program, participants visited several institutes of Amity University. On September 9, 2013 they visited Amity Business School, Amity School of Communication, Amity Institute of Behavioral and Allied Sciences, Amity Institute of Corporate communication. On September 10, 2013 participants visited Amity Institute of Microbial Technology, Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism.
