Amity School of Engineering & Technology organises workshop on Mobile Application Development titled "AppXplorer"
Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amity School of Engineering & Technology organized a workshop titled "AppXplorer" on ‘Mobile Applications Development’ for B.Tech and M.Tech students during Amity Youth Fest on March 23, 2013 at Amity University, Noida. The workshop was delivered by Mr. Vijay Rastogi, Director, Sisoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Along with Mr. Prabhat Shukla, Trainer, Sisoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. which benefitted many students.
Mr. Vijay Rastogi enlightened students on the latest technologies used in mobile applications development with the main focus on Android applications due to its largest share in the mobile application market(70%). He discussed the relevance of understanding and learning mobile application development for brighter future prospects. He briefed students about Sisoft's own applications in the Android and iOS market place.
Mr. Prabhat Shukla then took over and began with the introduction to the android application development. He focused on the android framework and the android development environment. The participants were provided with the entire Software Development Kit(SDK) so that they could get a hands-on experience and knowledge about working with the different softwares. Mr. Shukla gave live demos and sample projects to the students who practiced and successfully implemented them.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks extended by Prof.(Dr.) Abhay Bansal, HOD, CSE
