AITTM organises orientation Program for Students admitted for 2011 Academic year
Orientation program for new students admitted to various MBA courses at Amity University was organized today. AIB, AICI, AIOA, AITTM, ASCO, ASH, ASNRSD, ASRUM had a combined Orientation Program for the students which was coordinated by AITTM. The program started with Address by the HoDs in their respective institutions, introducing Amity University and the Institutes to the students.
This was followed by a havan for the successful academic life of the students here at Amity University. The havan was attended by the new students, their parents and members of the faculty. Shastriji explained to the students the importance of the each of the shlokas being recited from the Vedas. After the havan, Lt. Gen. P D Bhargava, DG - AITTM addressed the students briefly, where he welcomed them on behalf of Founder President, President, Chancellor and Vice Chancellor - AUUP. He also assured the students that the members of the faculty would always be present with them to guide them during the next two years and even after that. Dr. A K Srivastava, DG - AIB also addressed the students and wished them luck for their future endeavours.
The havan was followed by a session on Introduction to Amity Universe by Maj. Gen. R K Dhawan. The session was followed by Proficiency test for the students while the parents interacted with the Head of the Departments, Head of the Institutions and members of the faculty.
