Shri Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman, Organising Committee, Commonwealth Games visits Amity University
Shri Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman, Organising Committee, Commonwealth Games visited Amity University Campus, Sector-125 Noida. Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Universe, Mr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh welcomed Shri Kalmadi.
Shri Kalmadi visited the Campus to have a first-hand knowledge of the ongoing Training of the 30,000 volunteers and 2, 000 work force for Commonwealth Games being organised at Amity University Campus. Mr. K.S. Bains, Director General, Amity Institute of Training & Development presented briefing on the training program.
Shri Kalmadi visited each and every training Amphitheatre and training halls and personally observed all the activities of the training program.
During the occasion Shri Kalmadi wrote message in visitors book:
"It was a great priviledge to visit Amity University which I have heard so much about. I was amazed. I am happy that the volunteer programme was given to Amity. I saw for myself the great work done by the staff to train the volunteers in a novel way. Volunteers are backbone of any games. Now I am confident with your training theVolunteers so well it will definitely be the best Commonwealth Games! The dymanism of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan is seen all over the programme."
