Amity Academic Staff College organised Faculty Deveopment Programme on "Research Methodology- Management & Humanities" on May 12-13, 2010 at F3 Block Seminar Hall.
More than 100 Faculty Members from various Amity institutions participated in the Faculty Deveopment Programme. Prof. (Dr.) S K Laroiya, HOD, Economics, ABS was the Programme Director of Faculty Deveopment Programme.
Maj. Gen.K Jai Singh, Vice Chancellor, AUUP, Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academics) & DG, ASET presented the opening remarks.
Prof. (Dr.) S K Laroiya, HOD, Economics, ABS shared his views on Thinking like a researcher and value addition in the life of an academician and Designing a Research project. Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava, Head & ADG, ABS presents his talk on the topic "Qualitative Research". Prof. (Dr.) Parul Jhajaria, Programme Director, HR, ABS shared her views on Recent Research issues in the field of HR.
Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academics) & DG, ASET presented her views on Industry related Research. Prof. (Dr.) S K Laroiya, HOD, Economics, ABS discussed on the topics "Data collection – research instruments", "Data Analysis- Univariate, Bivariate and Multivariate" and Data Analysis-Using SPSS 18.0. Session was followed by Questions & Answers and feedbacks from participants.
