Prof. Longbing Cao, Director Advanced Analytic Institute, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia delivers lecture on "DATA ANALYTICS – CONCEPTS AND APPLICATIONS” at Amity University
Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amity School of Engineering & Technology organized an Expert Lecture Session by eminent Professor Longbing Cao Director Advanced Analytic Lab, University of Technology, Australia on 31 January 2013 at Amity University, Noida. The topic of the lecture was “DATA ANALYTICS – CONCEPTS AND APPLICATIONS” which benefited students and faculty members.
The welcome address was given by Dr. Abhay Bansal, Head of the Department, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amity School of Engineering and Technology, AUUP.
The lecture covered basic to advanced concepts of data analytics, including data mining and big data, various application and research areas in the field of analytics.
The lecture was engaging and interesting. Various case studies were taken up to explain the concept.
The lecture concluded with a Q&A session, where students and faculty put forth queries regarding opportunities of internships and joint projects in Australia.
