Concluding Ceremony of the prestigious Six Months Certificate Course in Business Management for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) & OR and their equivalents from Navy & Air Force was conducted on 18 January 2013 at Amity University, Sector 125, Noida.
48 JCOs & OR and their equivalents attended this programme sponsored by the Director General Resettlement, Ministry of Defence.
Maj Gen Pramod Behl. Director General Resettlement, Maj Gen (Retd) K Jai Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities and Senior Vice President, RBEF, Dr Sanjay Srivastava, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, Amity University and Maj Gen (Retd) S Bindra, VSM, Senior Director, Amity Institute of Education and Training in their address to the participants gave them “Mantras” on how to be successful in life post retirement. Reason being that they have served/serving in Services where values, discipline and sacrifice are the pillars. Welfare of the serving personnel and their dependents is looked after by the organization. As a result, place of posting has very little importance.
Maj Gen Pramod Behl in his address to the participants particularly emphasized on the issue of taking care of the families, and how to be a Good Citizen who could contribute to the growth of the Nation.
