Human Values Quarter starts at Amity University

In order to inculcate humanistic values amongst its students, all the institutions of Amity will observe “Human Values Quarter” which was inaugurated on January 28, 2010. Human Values Quarter will inspire the students and entire Amity fraternity to dedicate themselves to the cause of the society.

Since its inception, Amity University has valued human values through “Amitasha”, a project under the Amity Humanity Foundation (AHF) which initiates the upliftment of the underprivileged girl child by way of providing free education, free books, free meals and healthcare to them. Amity Cricket Insurance Cup, Amity Polo Cup to name a few are some of the mega events that are organized by the university from time to time for the cause of humanity.

Guru Parampujya Shri Ram Kripalji- Founder Sci-D’vine Foundation, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan- Founder President, Amity Universe, Mr. Atul Chauhan- Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Dr. (Mrs) Amita Chauhan- Chairperson, Amity International Schools, Mrs. Pooja Chauhan- Vice Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation, Ms Sapna Chauhan, Chairperson, Amiown and Professor RR Grover, Director, Amity School of Insurance and Actuarial Science inaugurated the “Human Values Quarter”.

Welcoming the enlightened and distinguished Guru, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group said that it is a historical moment for all Amitians who have been blessed with the presence of such a great personality, his magical words will help in transforming the students into better human beings.

Sharing his wisdom with the students and august gathering, Guru Parampujya Shri Ram Kripalji- Founder Sci-D’vine Foundation said that after experimenting for years on latest technology and knowledge, he has came to the conclusion that his findings would prove to be of immense help to the man of present day. It will help them to live a life of happiness in the midst of great turmoils of life.

He shared some experiments carried on by him in the area of Super Science. “Master your thoughts and thereby your destiny. Always keep the vision big and no one can stop you from achieving success in your life. The thought process of a person brings tremendous change in one’s life. Positive attitude plays significant role”, were some of the motivating and inspiring words of the Shri Ram Kripalji . Sharing the guiding mantra of life, he said that one should practice to replace negative thoughts by thinking about the pleasant memories in one’s life. If one practices this for at least 15 to 90 days, it will become part of his life and will, eventually, change his life. He urged the students to visualize that they have achieved their goals and then see the magical effect of the visualization.

Dr. (Mrs) Amita Chauhan- Chairperson, Amity International Schools said that it’s a great honour for all of us to listen to the enlightening words of the Guru. It will help not only the students but also others who were present during the occasion to live a life full of wisdom, health and happiness.

Students presented their views on “How my values have brought me recognition” on the gracious occasion from various institutes of Amity University. The names of the students who participated are A. Kohli, Shandhu Sushil Sharma (AIBS) and Satti Swaroop Mohanty (ASET).

Patriotic songs were presented by the students of the university on the occasion.
