Amity School of Business organises Annual Management and Cultural Fest - Aura 2010

Aura 2010, the Annual UG Management and Cultural Fest started with a great zeal and enthusiasm organized by Amity School of Business. The aim of the fest was to blend entertainment with management.

The fest was inaugurated by Mr. Rajeev Kumar, CEO, Rocky Talk. The other honorary guests present on the occasion were Dr. (Mrs.) Kamal Agarwal, Chairperson, Dishabharti, Mr. Kartike Sharma, MD, India News and Mr. Sufian Khan, CEO, Kartavya Foundation with the traditional lighting of the lamp of knowledge.

Mr. Rajeev Kumar, CEO, Rocky Talk has authored several books on wireless technology. He gave valuable tips to be successful in life to the students. He said that simple ideas if implemented in a proper way can easily make one a successful entrepreneur. Good technology with bright minds should come out together in a cohesive way. Otherwise the bright minds will remain islands. Simple ideas can help to make good business. An able leader is always in need to bring in a common vision of a team. He also said that soft skil1s play a crucial role. Taking decisions, networking with people are important aspects which one has to develop with experience. One has to have passion, energy and minimal level of education to understand things rightly to be a good entrepreneur.

Kamal Agarwal, Chairperson, Dishabharti asked the students to recognize their talents and work on it. And always remember to respect elders. She also added that in the advanced technological world with entertainment the students should not distract their mind from their goal.

Mr. Kartike Sharma, MD, India News while addressing the gathering said learning and observing are essential. Our education should evolve through learning. It’s not important how much one has scored in academics. Applicability is significant. The most essential thing in life is to have a concept. Make the most while you are a student. It is a must to evolve as a better personality not only a graduate.

Mr. Sufian Khan, CEO, Kartavya Foundation said that his foundation worked for the defence welfare. He requested the youth of today to work for the welfare of the defence personals who are defending our country. You can help your nation by helping these people.

The two day cultural event included digital spectacle (Games), engineered images (Ad Mad), Word War (Debate), World Talk, Klick Start. Dramatics, fabrique show, jalwa and performance by Humayun Kabir were also presented.
