Mr. M.N. Krishnamani, Sr. Advocate and President - Supreme Court Bar Association delivered lecture at Amity Law School, Noida

Mr. M.N. Krishnamani, Senior Advocate and President of the Supreme Court Bar Association addressed the students of Amity Law School, Amity University on Thursday, 07th January, 2010 explaining the vast avenues available in legal practice for future and trends to the profession. He pointed out that the entry of foreign law firms to India will not in any way adversely affect their scope for raise in the profession.

The speaker further informed that a committee for reforms in legal education set up by the Supreme Court and headed by the Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam has recently submitted its report on the changes needed in law teaching. He deeply appreciated the academic competence of Amity Law School students and assured them of due help in seeking acceptance in the chambers of senior law practitioner of the Supreme Court. The initial gestation period should not discourage them from making a mid course correction to find employment in corporate law firms, he said.

Maj. Gen. Nilendra Kumar, Director, Amity Law School, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh in his introductory remarks explained the wide spectrum internship policy of Amity Law School that is designed to equip the students with sufficient exposure in various branches of law.
