Three Day Annual Management Fest Trends organised by Amity Business School concluded on January 22, 2010.
Day 3 of Trends saw the concluding session of ‘The One- Search for the Best Manager’. The stress interview was conducted by the eminent jury from the industry and Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Head of Amity Business School. After 7 rigorous rounds spread over 3 days, the winner was Manish Maloo from IMT Ghaziabad who took away a beautiful trophy and a prize of Rs. 10,000/-. The close runner-up was Anirudh Singh from SMS Varanasi who was awarded Rs. 7500/-.
Knowledge is the new currency of power, a critical resource in today’s information intensive economy and what better way to increase our knowledge than by attending the quiz session – ‘Prashna- The Quiz Competition’. At Prashna, which was designed for both – the corporates as well as the students of other B-schools, the eminent quiz master – Mr. Gautam Bose, tested the quizzing skil1s of participants, who represented some of the premier institutes and organizations of the country such as Delhi School of Economics, FMS, IIT-Delhi, IMT, NTPC, Tech Mahindra, Motherson, CWG etc. The winning team was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 30,000/- and the runners-up with Rs. 10,000/-.
Another Marketing Event, Building Blocks, concluded today with Asia Pacific Institute of Management winning the first prize of Rs. 10,000/-. The second prize of Rs. 7500/- went to Jamia Millia Islamia Centre for Management Studies.
Trends came to a close on the 22nd with ‘Abhinandan: A Cultural Evening’. It began with a tribute to the martyrs of 26/11. This was followed by Paridhan- showcasing how, in Amity, modernity blends with tradition. The song and dance performances by the students of Amity Business School kept the audience enthralled.
