High power delegation from Republic of Mauritius visits Amity University to promote cooperation in the educational areas

A delegation comprising of high level officials from Mauritius visited Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Sector-125, Noida campus. The purpose of the visit was to promote institutional goals, to establish ties of friendship and cooperation for promoting mutual understanding and to promote cooperation in the educational areas.

The delegation led by Hon’ble Reza Issack, Member of Parliament, Hon’ble Mookhesswur Choonee, Mauritius High Commissioner, Hon’ble Raouf Bundhun, Former Vice President, Honorable R.Guttee, Junior Minister & Member of Parliament, Mr. Mahendra Utchana, former Minister of Energy, present Chairman GOPIO and Mr. Afzal Delbar, Managing Director Silverline Services Limited delibered on the potential areas of establishing Amity University in Mauritius, exchange of students, exchange of faculty, organizing and participating in International Conferences, seminars and symposia, Organizing workshops in various fields like Business and Management, Science and Technology, Arts and Culture, Joint Research activities, Exchange of Research Scientists and Scholars, Supervision and Guidance on dissertations and theses, Exchange of M.Tech students, Joint Projects, Joint Publications, Identify funding agencies to fund joint research projects, Explorations for innovations in International Education, Research and Consulting, Developing Joint Programs and Management Development Programs. The delegation also interacted with students of Amity Business School and find out their interest in Mauritius.

The delegation met Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group, Mr. Aseem Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University, Rajasthan, Dr. Gurinder Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor (International) alongwith hon’ble Vice Chancellor Major General K.J. Singh, Amity University, Uttar Pradeshto discuss the areas of exchange programs in education.

The Mauritian delegation appreciated Indian culture. They have taken into consideration some reputed educational organizations of India and some other countries for exchange of ideas and for their Centre of Excellence and Amity University is one of them.
