ALCATEL LUCENT’S NRS1 PROGRAMME COMMENCES FOR B.TECH – E&T STUDENTS
AITTM’s alliance with Alcatel Lucent entered into its second year with commencement of Network Routing Specialist (NRS-1) program - an industry leading certification, recognized world-wide , on 17th May. The 4 day program, with intensive lab exercises
providing strong hands-on experience on IP and Career Ethernet Technologies for development of Consumer Triple Play and Enterprise Managed Communication Services. The program is specially designed for a small batch of 6-8 third year students to facilitate strong hands-on exposure which in turn provides optimum return on training investment.
In addition to the training the students are being provided with 6-8 weeks of internship on different live projects such as IP Security, Voice to Data Transformation and Optical Networking, thus creating a talent pool which can be tapped against telecom engineers requirement for Alcatel Lucent for the coming year.
