Amity Law School, Noida organised a Debate Competition on the topic '''''''' Role of Women in Corruption Eradication'''''''' on 25.3.2011. Students from all the semesters participated in it. The event was organised by Dr. Niru Sharan. Manisha of 2nd semester gave a beautiful presentation on the role of women in various fields in the beginning.The Speakers for the Debate were Prestha Singh, Akansha Kapoor, Gaurav Jain, Manan Popli, Nikita Opal, Jaivardhan Singh, Neha Jain, Arshit Anand and Nikhil Goyal. Each debated eloquently and rebutted cnfidently. Besides even the interjectors were prepared with facts to counter argument.
After a tough competition Nikita Opal bagged the first position and Jaivardhan Singh got the second position. The Director Major General Nilendra Kumar concluded the event by summing up the topic. He showed his appreciation for the speakers having spoken so well. The Deputy Director Dr. K.D.P. Singh also praised the students and emphasised that each one of us need to develop a positive outlook towards the various roles the women play in our society.
The event concluded after the Vote of thanks.
