Amity Institute of Telecom Technology and Management organized a skit on "Gandhigiri" as part of Human Values Quarter

As part of human values quarter students of MBA Telecom Batch 2009-11 organized a skit on “Gandhi Giri” on 24th March’ 2011 to spread Gandhiji’s message of non violence, healthy living and nationalism among the students.

The skit was divided into three short acts:

In the First act, two goondas having grudge with each other are shown fighting. Gandhi ji enters to spread the message of non violence. “Ahimsa ka marg hi sarvotam marg hai” i.e. the path to peace is the best path.”

In the second act, two drug addicts, who were taking drugs, make an innocent student fall prey to narcotics. Gandhi ji enters and preaches everyone to leave addiction through his message “Jeevan anmol hai, ise apne aur apne parivar ki prasannta mein upyog karein.” i.e. Life is precious. One should spend one’s life on the happiness and well being of one’s family.”

The third act depicted how politicians provoke people on the basis of religion and incite them to fight. Gandhi ji enters and preaches the message of “anekta mein ekta” i.e. “Unity in Diversity”

The students acted in the skit are Siddesh Kumbhar – Gandhiji, Vincent Paul- Narrator, Gaurav Chinani, Chidanand Mishra, Rohit Kala, Gajesh Holani, Rohan Mahajan, Utkarsh Sharma and Prakahr Prateek
