Amity International Business School bids farewell to the Batch of 2011
Bidding farewell has always been a touching moment. With much hope, the MBA – IB and IMBA Batch of 2011 received a gala extravaganza for a farewell packed with spectacular cultural performances from their junior batches on 23rd March, 2011. Hearts filled with emotions and aspirations were set to enter the Corporate world to be the pioneers of Innovation and make their alma mater proud.
Footprints of their stay at Amity were traced and fond memories refreshed. Students from the passing out batches spoke about their tenure and how Amity has made them what they are today. It is difficult to search for words in some of the most special days of your life, your farewell from your Institution being one of them. The juniors presented a series of videos, photographs, special moments, witty titles of appreciation, selection of Ms. & Mr. Farewell through multiple rounds judging their personalities, intelligence, attributes of becoming a responsible citizens, ethical professionals and their love for AIBS. Mr. R. Kabali Subburathinam and Ms. Akanksha Tyagi from MBA – IB and Mr. Karan Raj Sethi and Ms. Jyoti Shehrawat from BBA + MBA – IB (Dual Degree) were the well-deserved winners selected thorough votes from the audience. The juniors also presented their seniors with souvenir with personalized quotes written for them – a gift to be treasured for lifetime.
The event was graced by the presence of our Honorable Founder President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan. The students of AIBS got enlightened wordings and blessings for there future endeavors.
Dr. Gurinder Singh fondly reminisced the moments shared with his dear students, incidents that brought teary smiles and sad laughter. The excitement his speech generated made each student secretly pledge to be a symbol of all that is taught, practiced and nurtured at AIBS – Passion, Determination, Zest, unbeatble spirit, strength of character, cultural, religious and environmental sensitivity, ethical practices and respect for one and all.
With relationships that will bind them to their faculty and friends at AIBS, the seniors thanked the gathering section wise. The evening will be reminisced by one and all for the splendor, emotions and love shared amongst the AIBS family members.
