Mr. P.S Bawa, IPS(Retd), Chairman, Transparency International India delivers lecture on -"Role of Civil Society in Fighting Corruption" during AIC lecture series at Amity University
Mr. P.S Bawa, IPS(Retd), Chairman, Transparency International India and Former Director General of Police delivered lecture on the topic -"Role of Civil Society in Fighting Corruption" at Amity University Campus Sector-125 Noida. This was the 133rd lecture under the Amity International Centre (AIC) Lecture Series.
In his lecture Mr. P.S Bawa said that corrpution is a menace for the society. According to one report only 10 paisa per one rupee reaches to the actual receipient. Mr. Bawa said that it seems that our country is divided into India and Bharat wherein India is shining, developed, progressed in every field like IT, defence etc. On the other hand Bharat where the population in illeterate, poor, farmers doing suicide, corrpution in every field - judiciary, bureaucracy, politics etc. Mr. Bawa said that there is a big role of civil society in fighting corruption. We have to raise voice. We have to make and empower every individual for transparency.
Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Group said that talk of Mr.P.S Bawa is very important and an eye opner. Mr. Bawa had highlighted all the points and areas where corruption can take place. Dr. Chauhan said each of us individual has to take pledge and move forward to end corruption. Dr. Chauhan said if we want to live dignified life than we have to raise voice against corruption.
