Management Fest “AURA-2011” inaugurated at Amity University Uttar Pradesh

The three day Management Fest “AURA – 2011” of Amity School of Business was inaugurated at the Amity University Campus, Sector – 125, Noida.

Inspired from the present scenario where corporate are trying to revive their golden glory, rebrand their identity, restructure their functionality, repose itself in the market and reorganize their strength, AURA, the biggest undergraduate management festival was inaugurated today at Amity University Campus. The theme R3, Aura 2011 aims to bring in the best minds to devise creative, innovative and rational solution which will help the corporate to live in the fireworks. This year AURA 2011 is based on the theme of Revival, Restructure and Resurrection.

Eminent personalities present during the inauguration were the Guest of Honor, Mr. Amit Rana, Executive Director, Mahamedha Group and Guest of Honor, Mr. Bharat Nagar, Corporate Lawyer. Dr. B. Shukla, Pro-VC (A), Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Alka Munjal, Director, Amity School of Business and Dr. A. K. Srivastav, Director General, Amity Institute of Biotechnology also graced the occasion.

While addressing the august gathering, Guest of Honor, Mr. Bharat Nagar, Corporate Lawyer said that good management strategies are required needed in every aspect. If a person is good at management, he will be successful in life. It is good to see that students are learning the managerial sklls.

Dr. B. Shukla, Pro-VC (A), Amity University Uttar Pradesh said, “we have over 250 Annual fest organized by the various institutes every year. The industry interacts with the students through these fests. During these three days, lot of talent fight will be happening to win the trophies in various competitions of the fest.” Dr. Shukla urged the students that winning and losing is not important but the important thing is participation and the fest also provide an opportunity to students of various colleges from the country to exchange ideas and be friends.

In her inaugural address, Dr. Alka Munjal, Director, Amity School of Business expressed her immense pleasure by saying that we have achieved this position due to our hard work and the industry support. Every year students get a platform to interact with the corporate through the management fest. The globe has gone through recession. Therefore, the theme of the fest is based on measures to cope with the revival phase of business cycle.

The three day Management festival will comprise of quiz, debates, discussions, fashion shows, treasure hunt and cultural shows. Students from Christ College, Bangalore, J.D. Birla, Kolkata, St. Johns, Agra, Jamia, Delhi and various colleges of the country will be participating in the inter college management fest.

Harsh Nagar, upcoming Bollywood singer will be performing during the Inaugural Day Cultural Night of the fest.
