Students of Amity win an opportunity to visit Red Bull Racing Factory at Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
Amity University in association with Red Bull organized “Rickshaw Rage”, the most exciting and interesting Rickshaw Race amongst teams from various colleges of Delhi/NCR. The first ever of its kind, Rickshaw Race took place at Amity University, Sector-125.
Over 10 teams participated in the race including
“The Wiiinged Racers” from St. Stephens College, “The Cyclones” a combined team from St. Stephens College, Hindu and Ramjas, “The Fiercing Road Ragers” and “Team NSIT” from NSIT, “Team RedFM” from Hansraj College and “X-15s”, “Flying without License”, “Fast and Furious”, “Speedy Boys” from Amity University.
The campus, in the afternoon, enlivened with colorful, bright rickshaws decorated by students themselves and foot tapping music which swayed one and all.
The final race took place between four teams namely,
“Fast and Furious”, “Flying without License”, “The Fiercing Road Ragers” and Speedy Boys”
The first prize was won by
“Flying without License” team from Amity University and the second prize was bagged by “Fast and Furious” team from Amity University. The first prize comprised of life time opportunity to visit Red Bull Racing Factory at Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, Red Bull racing merchandise and Red Bull Flight Box and the Second prize comprised of Puma Gift vouchers and Red Bull Flight Box.
The team members of “Flying without License” were Praveen Yadav, Sagar Parihar, Pratik Kapoor and Prince Singh. The team members of “Fast and Furious” were Harshit Kaushik, Harshit Singhal, Mohit Arora and Debo Datta Dasgupta.
About “Rickshaw Rage”
In the initial round of “Rickshaw Rage”, the youngsters were asked to upload a super creative picture of their team with the team name, team members’ names and college name on the official page on the “ Rickshaw Rage” on Facebook. In the second round, the 16 most creative, short listed teams had to pimp up the rickshaws, given to them, in their own style at Amity University, Sector- 125, Noida. In the third and final round, ten teams from different colleges competed against each other.
