Shooters from Amity shot to fame during “All India Inter University Shooting Championship” at Gwalior

A shooting team comprising of 13 shooters from Amity Shooting Club participated in “All India Inter University Shooting Championship” which was held at Gwalior from Dec 10 – 16, 2010.
Amity shooters did exceptionally well and gave their best shots in individual and team events. Parth Chaudhary from Amity Institute of Information Technology participated in Air Pistol (Men) event and bagged Silver Medal. In Team events such as men’s Air Pistol, the shooters from Amity secured Fifth position, in Air Rifle Women bagged ninth position and in Air Rifle Men secured eleventh position, despite of the fact that most of shooters were competing for the first time.
Over 64 Universities participated in the competition from all over the country including 29 International shooters.
