Shriram Life Insurance and Max New York Life Insurance enter finals of Amity Insurance Cricket Cup
In an exciting Semifinal encounters Shriram Life Insurance and Max New York Life Insurance enter finals of Amity Insurance Cricket Cup 2010 by defeating Bajaj Allianz and Star Health respectively. Semifinal matches were played today at Amity University Campus, Sector-125 Noida. Amity Insurance Cricket Cup is organised by Amity School of Insurance & Actuarial Sciences.
First Semifinal match was played between Shriram Life Insurance and Bajaj Allianz in which Shriram Life won the match by 66 runs. Winning the toss, Bajaj Allianz elected to field first. In the alloted 20 overs Shriram Life Insurance made 153 runs. In reply Bajaj Allianz made 87 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Azam Khan of Shriram life was announced Man of the Match for his match winning balling spell of 3 wickets for 17 runs.
In second Semifinal match, Max New York Life Insurance defeated Star Health by 53 runs. Max New York Life Insurance won the toss and elected to bat first. In their alloted 20 overs Max New York made 126 runs. In reply Star Health team was all out in just 11.1 overs by scoring 73 runs. Yogesh of Max New York Life was adjudged Man of the Match for his match winning 42 runs.
