He stated, “neuro regulation of sleep is a broader aspect. It is one of the fore-runner of various scientific fields which include psychology, biotechnology and branches of medicine. We all have sleeping and waking patterns which are regulated by brain and therefore, the process is called neuro-regulation. Through the cells our body gets electrical signals and the body reacts to it. There is certain basic chemical process that happens because of which the reaction happens. This is how behavioral studies are done. Mind-Matter relation ship becomes very dynamic and complicated at times.” Prof. Mallick discussed various sleep awake pattern though his presentation.
