Two weeks training programme ‘Enhancing Management Skils for Human Resource Personnel’ for the employees of Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPCL) concludes at Amity University
Amity Institute of Education, Saket under the able guidance and leadership of Dr. Ranjana Bhatia- Director, AIE, Saket conducted two weeks training programme ‘Enhancing Management Skils for Human Resource Personnel’ for the Second Batch of the employees of Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPCL) from November 8-19, 2010 at Amity Campus, Sector- 44, Noida.
The valediction of the programme was graced by the distinguished presence of Maj. Gen K J Singh- Vice Chancellor, Amity University and Dr. B Shukla- Pro VC A (Academics), Amity University, who on the successful completion of the training programme, gave away the Certificates of Participation to the employees of Bhutan Power Corporation Limited
During the programme, the participants received extensive training on a wide range of topics such as “Planning and Organisation of Administrative Tasks”, “Role, Skils and Administrative Functions”, “Communication Skils”, “Interpersonal and Customer Care”, “Effective Office Management”, “Decision Making”, “Professional Etiquettes”, “Employee Relations – Team Building”, “Human Resource Management Systems”, “Management Information System”, “Computer Skils”, “Time management”, “Stress Management”, and “Familiarization with the modern administrative functions”
The two weeks of training saw fruitful discussions between the participants and the trainers, empowering BPC employees with the skils and tools of efficient management and adding value to their professional as well as personal lives.
Various interactive methods like role plays, simulations, team building activities and management games were used to make the training lively, interesting and effective. Experienced faculty members from the Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi and Amity Business School, Amity University, UP conducted the sessions.
During the BAL MELA organized by AIS, Noida, the participants also got an opportunity to interact and enjoy with the students of the school.
On 13th and 14th November 2010, the participants were taken to the two historical cities of Jaipur and Agra. In Jaipur, they stayed at the AMITY University, Rajasthan Campus and were thrilled with the environment of the University and hospitality extended by the people at University.
BPC chose the participants of the training programme on the basis of their excellent performance in respective fields. The General Manager-HR
Ms. Chhomo of BPC planned this training programme as a reward for enhancing the skils of these dynamic employees. The programme was designed to ensure both professional and personal growth for the participants.
